Where to eat on Nusa Lembongan – our favorite spots

Nusa Lembongan may be a small island, but when it comes to food, it punches well above its weight. Whether you're craving a slow morning coffee, a fresh and vibrant lunch, or a laid-back dinner with ocean views, this island has something for every taste. From your traditional warungs to beachfront cafés, here’s where we love to eat on Nusa Lembongan.
Coffee – start your day right
Good coffee isn’t hard to find here—if you know where to look. Whether you prefer a strong espresso or a silky flat white, these spots take their coffee seriously.
Kenya Coffee
First on the list is Kenya Coffee. The place looks simple, but they serve really good coffee. The best thing is that they are right at the beach, so go there in the morning when the weather is nice to wake up with your favorite coffee variation in front of the ocean breeze.
Drink of choice: When sunny, we always order an iced latte

Classic warung – local flavors done right
No trip to Nusa Lembongan is complete without a meal at a traditional warung. Simple, delicious, and packed with local flavors, these spots serve up everything from fragrant nasi campur to freshly grilled seafood.
Dapur Kecil Lembongan
Probably one of our favorite restaurants on the Island. They have a buffet where you can select your favorite dishes. You can select your Nasi Campur package, where the friendly staff asks you how many greens or meat dishes you want with the rice of your choice.
Our go to order: Rice with 3 vegetable & lemon chicken

Pondok Baruna Warung
Also a must-visit traditional warung is Pondok Baruna. This place is famous for their Nasi Campur (read the reviews if you don’t believe me). However there is one dish on their menu that surpasses it all. We definitely recommend their Pepes Ikan - a delicious fish with curry sauce, wrapped in a banana leaf.
